Not every house is a mansion, but every house is beautiful in its own way. The skilled landscape lighting designer (in this case, Rick Bequette) works within the homeowner’s budget to highlight that beauty and achieve the other goals of the lighting design.
This project in a quiet Florida neighborhood features a lovely brick home with a colonial-style portico and entrance seating area. Several stately palm trees frame the house. The project also includes a backyard pool and pergola. Since the budget was tight, the designer worked with the homeowner to identify the most important elements and to use a minimal number of fixtures to highlight them.
The result was one more nighttime transformation in a community fortunate to have skilled lighting designers on hand.
