I need 6 total path lights, but 2 transformers; one for the front yard and one for the detached garage. Can I buy the path lights individually or just in the set or 4 pack? If I buy two sets and a 4 pack I will have 2 extra path lights

Having trouble setting the time on the transformer. It will turn on manually but when putting to anything other setting lights stay off
If you are using a photocell ensure that is covered when testing during daylight.

What is the gauge of the wire already attached to the fixture and is it okay to add wire in case the 25’ is not enough?
The gauge is either 14 or 16. I added more wire.

How do you reset the sensor for dusk -dawn? The unit keeps coming in during mid day.
Mine doesn’t have sensor . It’s military time. I go out with my phone And I put in the time and translate it to military time and then program it. It’s a work in progress ….takes awhile . The only time I mess with it is during daylight savings time.

How many additional lights will the essentials transformer support? I’m wanting to add two downlights and two uplights from another essentials package to the one transformer?
I have an “Essential Transformer” and it efficiently supplies power to ten lights. You should have no problem adding another four lights to your transformer.

Does this kit have an option to direct wire the transformer instead of using an outlet to plug it in?
I’m not sure. I had someone install. I would suggest calling them direct. They’re so informative and helpful with questions. You cannot go wrong with these lights and company !

Volt Basic Lighting Kit
I researched outdoor lighting and found the volt systems had good reviews. I purchased the basic lighting kit and was delivered in less than a week. Installation was easy and straight forward as the kit had everything that is needed.
The lights were great quality and I was impressed of how well they were made. My old house had lighting bought from a box store. Every year I had issues with water shorting lights and bulbs not working. These lights are far superior from anything you buy could get from Lowes or Home Depot.
If you are looking for a good quality lighting system I highly recommend that you buy from Volt.

A very good experience!
I am delighted with the Essentials Landscape Lighting Kit that I bought from Volt. As a true novice in the electrical field I was very pleased to be able to assemble and install the components in the kit and see a beautiful and functional result. I did make several calls to Customer Support to clarify issues, and they were very helpful. I did struggle with the outlet cover purchased separately, and ended up using a different one from another company. Fingers crossed that I will not need to ask for the lifetime warranty services. I have told friends about this kit because I found the whole experience so good.

Amazing Customer Support!
I purchased several of the earlier versions of this set years ago for lighting palms, avocado & mango trees on my property. I have the six spotlight package. The company has been amazing at customer service. When I have experienced any product failures - bulbs do burn out on occasion after many hours of use - Volt has been great at replacing them. Most recently, I had a transformer that decided to act up. I didn't realize the transformers had lifetime warranties. I returned one of my original transformers and it was replaced withing two days. Amazing! I will continue to specify the Volt product for projects I am involved in as well as directing my neighbors to this excellent company!

I can't praise this lighting enough.
I can't praise this lighting enough. It is so much better than the big box stores. The quality and the engineering is top notch. I thought the guidelines on installation time (1-1/2 to 2 hours) were probably for experts, but (by myself) I actually installed the first set in less than two hours and added an expansion set in another hour. The experience was so great that I plan on doing our side yards with Volt lighting instead of hiring a landscaping company.

By far the superior product on the market
I have installed various brands of landscape lighting kits over the years. While I have been generally satisfied with all the products I have used, VOLT is by far the superior product. They have gone the extra mile and manufacture very high-quality units. In my package they even supplied wire strippers which was appreciated so I didn't have to go rummaging around my toolbox! I plan on ordering VOLT again within the next few weeks on my next project.

Awesome investment
Pretty straight forward install and the lights are great! Wish there was a way to customize the kit, for example, upgrading the included wire spool to a bigger gauge or longer length, etc. but I understand that the kit comes all set in its own box ready to go.

I did it and everyone is impressed!
I was really happy with the ease of installation of my Volt system! I was quoted over $2000 by a contractor. I completed the job my self in two evenings and i am 65 years old! Great system!

Get kit for a small home
Let me first say, this is the fifth home that I have installed Volt lighting. So, I'm obviously a fan of their products. This was for my daughter's home, a small home in a neighborhood with mature trees and arts and craft style. I originally had my eye on other Volt products, but this package was on sale and I decided to buy it. I'm sure glad I did. It came with everything I needed and I appreciated the attention to the detail and the value of getting it all at a discounted price. Super happy with this and it worked out perfectly.
