  • Q:

More specifically - is it possible to use a LED/CFL certified wall switch dimmer that controls the dedicated electrical box that the transformer would be wired to (lights mounted under stone fireplace hearth) ? Thanks in advance.

      A:

The dimmer that we provide for use with our flexible strip lights is designed to be used on the output side of one of our 24V DC Plug-in power supply devices. Using a dimmer on the opposite side of the power supply (directly to/from outlet) would cause the lights to flicker, and potentially cause damage to the power supply overtime due to the insufficient voltage.

    Is it dimmable?

      A:

We have a dimmer for the Strip lights in both the RGB and White Output Strip Lights. The White would have a dimmer that will attach after the power supply and will have a physical dimmer that you can use, the RGB will have a remote that will allow you to do the same thing.

Comments about VOLT® 30W Power Supply for LED Strip Lights:

Easy hookup if you have a plug. The unit itself is bulky for in a kitchen cabinet. Could be anlittle smaller with less cords.
