VOLT® underwater lights are the perfect fixture to transform your fountain, dock, or pond into a shining nighttime spectacle. These waterproof fixtures are specially designed with cold forged brass constructions, which is less porous than traditional cast brass and better suited for long-term use underwater. With a variety of different styles and mounting options, you can bring your pond to life by showcasing plants, illuminating fountains, and creating radiant water effects.
Why Use Underwater Lights
Boost Aesthetic Appeal: If you are looking to add unique lighting to your favorite spaces, underwater light fixtures turn ordinary ponds and fountains into captivating focal points. The blend of water and light creates a resort-like atmosphere, adding elegance, charm, and brilliant accents that enhance both backyard beauty and curb appeal.

Improve Safety and Visibility: Like all landscape lighting, underwater fixtures play an important role in increasing general safety. Illuminating potentially hazardous areas, especially around water, will help prevent accidents and improve visibility. Lighting up the depths of ponds or fountain edges not only creates beauty but also makes your outdoor spaces safer for parties, hangouts, or weekend gatherings.
Versatile + Design Flexibility: This durable fixture is built to withstand. It is highly resistant to corrosion, thereby protecting the fixture’s appearance. With an IP68 rating, this fixture can be completely submerged without any issues. Designed as an accent underwater light, it delivers vibrant illumination, and with our range of underwater fixtures, you can even choose different modes to change colors. Thanks to the design, our underwater lights can be used in a variety of applications.

Types of Underwater Lights
VOLT offers two types of underwater lights to fit your landscape design needs: Lamp-Ready and Integrated LED.
- Lamp-Ready Lights use replaceable bulbs, making it easy to customize the brightness, color temperature, and beam spread. If a bulb ever burns out, you can quickly swap it out without replacing the entire fixture.
- Integrated LED Lights have built-in LEDs that provide a brighter, energy-efficient lighting solution with long-lasting performance.
Installing and Maintaining Lights
For year-round beauty, proper installation and maintenance for your underwater lights is crucial. Here is how to ensure and maintain longevity:
Tips for Installation
- The easiest time to install pond lights is during construction or when the pond is drained for cleaning. This allows you to position fixtures without dealing with water depth or limited visibility.
- Aim lights across the water toward focal points like waterfalls, rocks, or aquatic plants, but position them so they face away from the viewing area, highlighting the features perfectly.
Seasonal Maintenance
Cleaning: Develop a routine to consistently clean the lenses to ensure illumination. A dirty lense can reduce the brightness and color output of the fixture. Especially in a pond, look out for dirt or algae that may act as a barrier, dimming the light. To protect the LEDs and bulbs, remove debris near the fixture as this can result in the trapping of heat.
Adjustments: Once the lights are installed, it is important to revisit the placement throughout the year. As seasons change, plants or vegetation can grow, and water levels can rise, blocking light beams. Adjusting angles or repositioning lights can help support the glow on focal points like rocks or waterfalls. Adjusting the fixture when needed will keep the design functional and visually appealing.
