Modern design with large top for wide light output. Durable, cast brass construction (thick/heavy). Provides 12ft diameter of illumination. For continuous illumination, space these fixtures about 12ft apart. For independent pools of light, space about 16ft apart.

Too fragile for the high price!
I bought around 20 of these for my hardscaping and although they are beautiful and I like them for that, they are far too fragile for the price one pays. They snap off at the base at slightest touch. I have over the past 6 months had four of them break. One got nudged by a mower, one had a twig fall on it, one just snapped while I was pushing the stake into the ground and another just snapped with the tiniest bump. We are pretty careful around them and do not simply crash into them willy-nilly, yet a fourth $120 light snapped on me today!

Nice contemporary light with good spread.
We have a contemporary home and wanted a path light with a wide spread. These fill the bill. With the clear lens, they cast light about 12 feet, a little less with the frosted lens installed. The only thing which prevented me from a 5 rating, was out of three lights, one was not quite square.

Weak Joint on Fixture.
I like the styling of the light but the connecting screws that attach the top are weak. I installed 8 of these and one broke during installation. You have to be really careful installing. Probably needs a different design to accommodate a larger connection point.

Great quality light fixture. The only reason for 4 stars, the lens cover has 8 little screws. It will not be easy to change the bulb from underneath. The bulb should also have a clip that keeps it from coming out of the pin socket.

poor design
I have had these for a couple years now and have had to replace them 2 or 3 times because they keep breaking off. The look and the lighting they give are nice, but it is not durable.
