Alan Brynjolfsson

After years of hard work transforming VOLT Lighting from a one-man start-up company into a successful industry disruptor, Alan Brynjolfsson needed a new goal to set his sights on.

Racing was always a dream of Alan's but life seemed to always get in the way, until one day when Alan went to the open track days at Sebring International Raceway. Alan immediately hired a racing coach, upgraded to safer equipment and started competing in Porsche club events. Some months and a few track records later, he began racing professionally.

Alan was Pirelli World Challenge’s top rookie in 2018 with three podium-finishes in four starts. He started 2019 by winning the second Pirelli GT4 SprintX race Sunday at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Alan became the first American driver to win the Porsche Cup in more than a decade, with the Park Place Motorsports driver announced as 2019's winner during the ‘Night of Champions’ awards ceremony in Stuttgart, Germany.

Now that the Tampa native has the time to devote to racing, Alan plans to be a season-long championship contender and hopes to capitalize on a strong introduction to Aston Martin and Ligier JS.

Trent Hindman - VOLT Racing

Trent Hindman

Committed to a dual program for VOLT Racing with Archangel competing in both the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and IMSA Prototype Challenge, Trent Hindman is certainly one to watch when it comes to racing.

At the ripe-age of eight Trent started kart racing at his local kart track in West Long Branch, NJ. Trent would go on to win his first national karting championship in 2008 and in 2009 he achieved podium classifications in various World Karting Association classes. With his dreams in sight he completed the Skip Barber Racing School in 2009 where he subsequently ran his first race at Road America where he finished fifth.

He continued competing in the Skip Barber National Championship throughout 2010 and 2011 and in that year Hindman won two races at Lime Rock Park and one race at Autobahn Country Club marking his first wins in Autosport. In 2012 Trent joined the Mazda Road to Indy competing in the USF2000, scoring two podium finishes and ending up fifth in the 2012 final standings. His achievements don't stop there, he also is the 2014 CTSC GS Champion, the 2017 Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America and World Champion, and the 2019 GTD Champion.

Needless to say the New Jersey native has paved his path when it comes to racing. Trent and Alan are the race duo to keep your eyes on, as they dominate the season with the Aston Martin and Ligier JS.
