one small problem
lights are great, and look good when installed. The amount of light they throw is perfect for a path. So, I really like the light. However, there is a potential problem. The threaded adaptor at the base of the pole (for threading into the provided stake or extension) is not available on its own. Recently one of our poles was snapped by a work crew. It broke the adaptor and volt will not sell it solo. They have offered one free replacement. If more, in the future, should break however, it will be the cost of an entire fixture for one small, proprietary part.

Hands Down! Changed the entire outlook of our House! Period
Very well made, amazing looking, perfect product that lights up our front and side yard in a very charming way. Myself designed the whole lighting system and visualized it before I started. Worked my way up to that I thought I would do with these lights and it turned out to be great looking landscape in our front, side and back yard. Highly recommend this product if you want to have a unique landscape lighting experience in your home appearance. None other products can be compared to VOLT products. Don't even think about buying anything from local hardware store as it cannot be compared with VOLT system products. They also offer lifetime warranty on those which is a plus! Liking it a lot. Quality and Price
I found the quality of these lamps to be excellent, and the price is unbeatable. I put five lamps with the led bulbs in, the small transformer, and the dawn/dusk sensor, and everything worked perfectly and looks great. 3/2016 update: Over the past year, all five of the original G4 3watt bulbs have failed. So why still 5 stars? Cause every time Volt sent me replacements promptly by Priority Mail, almost without questions. So five stars for lifetime warranty and Volt service. Also, the replacement bulbs seem much better - smaller, brighter, and completely enclosed (there was no outer cover on the old large bulbs). So five stars for improving quality. Everything else continues to work splendidly.

Excellent light
I don't have much to complain about. It's well designed and well built (I took one apart). The pieces are well machined and the finish seems durable. It isn't perfect, however. It turns out that you can tighten the top screw too much for the shade, which in turn can overtighten the upper half of the lamp enclosure. If that is tightened too much, it will crack and break the glass. I would rather have it designed so that the upper and lower halves can be completely tightened without breaking the glass.

Excellent quality. Easy to install. House looks great!
Replaced my entire front landscaping and lighting. The path lights and up lights make our house completely stand out, what a difference! The only thing if I had to complain about something is the 13inch stakes with the brass insert crack and break easily when hammering in the ground. I used wood but since the stake is plastic with only a brass insert the slightest off center hit cracks it right away.

GREAT light!
On a recent re-landscape project I installed several of these throughout the front and back yards. Several as path lighting, and several others as garden lighting. I also added up-lights and spots as well as a few hanging lights. They put out an amazing amount of light for so little power usage, and given their low power usage, I have both yard transformers set up on the photo-cell timers for automatic on at dark and off at light. Couldn't be happier and recommend VOLT lighting for anybody needing quality landscape lighting!

Yes, these are great lights for path/landscaping.
Great landscape lights. These were used as path lights and for landscaping. These have a wide and low spread beam. I installed them about 9 to 10 feet apart. This gives great lighting. The cheap box store lights have nothing on these. As most homeowners install path lights 2 to3 feet apart. Which is a mistake. That make our house look like a airport runway. These path/landscaping lights need to be complemented with up lighting and house lights to enhance the overall image.

Great products but not duty free for Canadians
I live in Ontario, Canada and ordered a light package with transformer etc and very happy with these lights. The quality is far better than big box store products and the light is nice and warm white. Even though Volt's shipping section mentions possible duty charges on international shipments, Canadians tend to revert to the NAFTA but duty DOES apply to these orders. So when you are calculating your ""landed"" cost, add your exchange rate, then 10% duty, and provincial tax.
