Can these be turned upward to illuminate a palm tree?
These fixtures are recommended for path lighting. We advise aiming them downward for the most effective lighting. We typically recommend spotlights for any upward lighting!

Knuckle leaks like a sieve
Put 15 of these down my drive. Looks great. Only problem is to save money they use the same head on both sides. That puts the allen screw for tightening the knuckle on the top on the left side fixture. Water leaks around the screw causing the head to fill up with water. LED bulbs do not like being immersed in water. I replaced all the bulbs for the left side of each fixture going on 2 times now before I figured out how the water was getting in. The old design had big thumbscrews which didn't seem to leak.

Water leak concerns
All Volt products are heavy duty, feel substantial, and look elegant. I have used the Twin light fixtures along multiple pathways and a quarter mile driveway, so guessing 70 or so in total. There are 2 adjustment screws per light source, one for vertical tilt, the larger screw is for lateral spread, and here is the problem. The right hand light adjustment screw is on the underside, the left is on top. Rain water leaks through this screw and collects around the left MR-11 bulb, which are not cheap, and the bulb is permanently damaged. Fortunately I’m in the PNW, and minus the occasional “bomb cyclone “ it is a more gentle rain. Heavy thunderstorms or higher velocity winds will damage your left bulb and leave you replacing 12$ bulbs that should last thousands of hours. Tightening the screw to the max doesn’t help. If you like the light placement and position, then a blob of clear silicon over the screw is an option, but for this expensive of a fixture should not be necessary.

DIY installation
Bought down-lights with extensions to match pagoda driveway lights. Quality materials and instructions. Assembly and installation was a breeze. Obvious that Volt knows the business. Customer service rep easily handled a couple of configuring and ordering questions.

Great look and double head is rare bird/
This looks so streamlined - but functions like a powerhouse. I love the versatility and the good looks and slim profile. The double headed fixtures are hard to find and this also has many mounting options. I am looking to add more.
