Wattage is the energy consumption of a bulb or fixture; lumens measure light output. LED bulbs use less energy to produce the same light output as halogen or incandescent bulbs. So, use lumens when selecting an LED bulb. The higher the lumens, the brighter the light.

VOLT® Recessed Soffit Downlight (Aluminum White)

This fixture has been designed specifically to be recessed into exterior soffits or ceilings for permanent downlighting. The design allows for 30° off center rotation of the lighting housing for precision control of the light output. Each fixture includes a line-voltage (120V) step down junction box featuring quick connect wire plugs for easy installation and quick daisy-chaining (one hub required per fixture). Designed for use with interchangeable 12V LED MR16 bulbs. Mounting hardware is included. Rated for outdoor or indoor use.
