Why isn't this fixture compatible for use with the VOLT® Adjustable Beam Angle LED MR11 Bulb (2700K)? thx
The bulb would be too big to fit inside the lens because of the rotatable optic.

Couldn't be happier with the results
Used these along with the gutter mounts to light a second floor gable and as accent lights on my small trees. I chose these at the suggestion of Travis, a Volt representative,who was very helpful when I called to get some advice and questions answered. Because these are smaller than the regular size Top Dog fixture, they are hardly visible from the ground. I couldn't be happier with the results. BTW...I'm a 59 year old grandmother and I did this myself from start to finish. If you are thinking about doing a lighting project, go for it. It's really kind of fun and very rewarding!

Top Dog Mini
I was very pleased with the quality and finish. The Top Dog Mini is the perfect size for niche lighting. I ordered 14 for second level gutter mounting purposes. We had a couple of problems with the socket connection coming undone on a couple of them. Volt's customer service was courteous and took care of this promptly. I wish the stem below the knuckle was a little larger. It's not much larger than the threaded portion. We had to use washers to keep this from sliding through the hole on our gutter mounts. I would also like to see a 60 degree MR11 LED bulb available for this fixture. Unbeatable price for professional grade fixture!

Awesome product
I have used low voltage lighting for years. We recently moved and at our new home, I wanted low voltage lighting. I saw this product at our local Lowes store after seeing it at a fancy restaurant near us. I liked the look, so I bought a starter kit with 4 pathway lights. Absolutely love the look of the fixture and the color of the lights. Very elegant. I bought some additional product directly from Volt and will be buying additional pathway lights directly from Volt. I have gotten many positive comments from neighbors on the look of our home. Thank you for making our home look so beautiful looking at night.,

Excellent Product
I’ve purchased solar powered light systems from the big box stores in the past and they typically don’t last too long. Regardless, I was hesitant to spend more money on a system from Volt. The lifetime warranty was enticing, especially considering the issues I’ve had with the cheaper systems. I’m glad I did and would highly recommend the Volt lighting systems. They are high quality units that will definitely last many years. The spotlights and transformers are very robust. I like the wattage and light pattern options they provide for light bulbs, and their customer service is outstanding.

I would buy this product again.
I mounted the mini lamp aimed towards the front door. It complements eight other Volt lamps under the eaves from side to side of the house front. The purpose was to illuminate the front door lock for easier key insertion. It does the job very well. However, it is too bright compared to an incandescent lamp it replaced and the beam spread is too wide for my purpose of that certain look/mood. I have the lowest wattage LED. The lighting intensity I was looking for would be approached with a Volt dispersion lens and a longer light shield to narrow light distribution.

Underwater
My yard flooded out during a downpour and as I walked around the side, I saw these two lights I had recently installed. They were on and working just fine…while completely submerged underwater.
And they are still working just fine even after the water is gone. I felt obligated to write this review of such a durable light.

Volt Top Dog
I will be installing spot and pathway lighting this coming spring on my 1600 sq. ft. home. I have been talking to the Volt office personnel and have been very impressed with their knowledge and expertise in helping me decide on the best lights for my house. In doing so, we went with the Top Dog mini spotlight for the house. I am very pleased with the quality and thickness of the brass Top Dog spot light. The shipment came in a very well organized box with the bulbs inside their own box. I will contact them again to order pathway lights and probably the larger Top Dog spotlight for some large trees. I always look for very good quality items but never the (BEST) quality for the price. From all my research I’ve read, Volt is a perfect company for quality and help. Definitely 5 stars. Nick

Top dog mini spotlight on my fireplace!
Love the top dog mini spotlight. I have it shining on the back of my outdoor fireplace. I also have 19 other lights that I have bought from you and one I have shining on my flag pole.
