VOLTĀ® Turtle Safe Mini Flat Hat Brass Path & Area Light (5" Shade)
Featuring a 14" stem and small angular hat, this luminaire projects a wide beam of illumination while simultaneously protecting from any direct glare. The wavelength of the required lamps provides adequate lighting for humans, while being virtually invisible to the sea turtles itās designed to protect. This fixture is specifically manufactured to avoid sea turtles being distracted by the light and coming inland where they often perish. Instead, with turtle safe lights, the turtles will safely return to the ocean where they belong. Approximately 4.5-foot diameter beam spread. For continuous illumination along a path, space about 4.5 feet apart. For independent pools of light, space about 6 feet apart.
