Can I use color bulbs?
We currently do not offer any colored PAR36 LEDs at this time.

What is the spread?
We are lighting up palm trees and use 12W LED PAR36 60° 3000K BulbS for 10’ tall trees and 12W LED PAR36 35° 3000K Bulbs for up to 20’ trees.

Does this come with a lamp or does that need to be ordered separately?
Hello Tom,
The bulb is a separate charge from the fixture itself. You will be offered the different bulbs we have available as you choose the fixture and you would see the price go up accordingly as it does so.
We don't require that you use our bulbs, so we do leave an option for you to choose "No Thanks" and get your bulbs elsewhere if needed.

Design Flaw
I was happy to see these with the new design for Par 36 bulbs as I have been a fan of the Par36 bulb from the countless orders in the past with Volt. To be clear - the quality is a 5 star - just like their other products. But there are two things that I would note for anyone interested. The sizing picture in the description is wrong. I think it was for the old model that they discontinued. I had a large stock of par36 bulbs purchased elsewhere. The bulbs I have contain curved glass. This light is incompatible with any bulb that is not flat. While I am sure that Volt matched them up with the bulbs they sell, that does not help anyone purchasing the bulbs elsewhere - it significantly limits where you purchase the bulb. Again - I have purchased from Volt for 15 years now, invested several thousands in their products, and I love their products, just not this one at all. I wish you kept the old model in production.

Excellent Flood Lights
I purchased four of these to light a variety of trees in my yard including Oaks and Monterey Pines. The flood light effect they create is pretty stunning. Where I was uplighting from just below the tree, the lowest intensity bulbs worked nicely. Where I had to cross a span of about 20-25 feet to reach the trees from the fixture location, the highest intensity bulbs did the job. These light fixtures are very well designed, nice looking, and of high quality construction. They aren't the cheapest, but I think they're a reasonable value for what they are. Installing them to integrate with my existing path lights was pretty easy. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase and the prompt shipping.

An unfortunate cheapened version of the VFL-4501-4-BBZ Volt used to offer
Lighter weight and reduced quality on the sealing interface
Perhaps other manufactures should be condidered instead

Great products and great company
I've been ordering from Volt for many years, and their lights are built like tanks; they're made to last. I started with their halogen fixtures and, over time, migrated to their 2700 K LED products. Everything has always performed exactly as advertised.
Most recently, the postal service mistakenly delivered my order to another state. I contacted Volt by email, and within 10 minutes they had shipped a replacement order to me at no charge. It arrived today.
What can I say? This is a great company with outstanding products and exceptional customer service.

Design flaw
Set screw is not sufficient to hold on the glass bulb cover. I maxed out the screw and it is still able to come off if gently pulled. Need a longer set screw or an additional one. Great products over all, but this one slipped by quality control.
