How is the glare compared to the nano? I have some nanos which really give soft detailed light. I’m concerned about to much reach with Mr 8 w 2 watt 2700
This light is perfect for highlighting a small tree or hardscape. It is not overbearing at all. I have in an area where the trees and a fountain are highlighted and can be enjoyed inside and out. Volt is the best and has many options

Professional installer recommendeds Volt products
Professionally I worked for a high end landscape design, installation and maintenance company. Over my 30 plus years I installed innumerable outdoor lighting systems and they were all top name brand fixtures and materials for our customers. I wanted the added beauty for my home that you receive from outdoor lighting but I was not willing to spend any more than I could really afford so I found Volt lighting products on line and did some research and was impressed with their product descriptions. I ordered and installed 10 path lights 8 years ago and found them as equally constructed and durable as the more expensive ones I had installed for our customers. I haven’t any problems with any of the fixtures and have only replaced bulbs through the years. Recently I needed to add some up lighting for 2 trees in our yard and ordered 2 Mini Brass Spotlights and again I found them of high quality and easy to install fixtures and am very satisfied with my purchase.

Powerful Little Guy
When I opened the box, I had no idea how small this light really was. I bought 12 Top Dog Scotty spotlights for our trees and bushes, and this mini for our fountain. It is the perfect size and shines just the right amount of light. That said, I would not want it where it could be stepped on, thus the lower portion of the fountain (which is now a flower bed) was perfect.

It has issues…
I bought this just a couple weeks ago and I can’t tell you how many times I look outside and it’s not working. So I go outside, open it up and put the bulb back in. The fit of the bulb to the holder is terrible. It just falls out. I’m about to just glue it in. I’m very disappointed in this light. The other 2 dozen lights I have are great. Maybe just a poor design.

Quality you will have for years.
These small spotlights are perfect, just the right amount of light for our back corner of our lot. We have 2 very large rocks, 6’x5’x4’ and a smaller one. Lights them up beautifully in front of our fencing.
