With the goal of converting all his old halogen lamp to LEDs, this ambitious homeowner experimented with color temperature, lamp types and more.
The first step was to extensively research various sources for LED bulbs. The results of that was finding VOLT® and committing to taking on the project himself – not an easy task with 65 existing fixtures.
Initially, he used 2700K bulbs, then realized he wanted to see the effects of other color temperatures. He finally settled on 3000K – slightly cooler than the initial 2700K.
By the time he completed the project he had replaced all the old bulbs and some of the fixtures as well. The neighbors showered him with compliments and he continues to enjoy his lights night after night.
